Course Description
CES will hold the PE Civil Review course on Tuesdays and Thursdays from August 24, 2010 – October 26, 2010. Classes will meet from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Course content includes: Hydrology/Hydraulics; Capacity Highway Economics; Timber, Steel and Concrete Structures; Wastewater Treatment/Solid Waste; Pre-Stressed Concrete; Soils/Foundations; Retaining Structures; Masonry Design; Roadway Geometric Design; and Highway Alignment. Registration Fee: CES members $725; Nonmembers $775 Registration deadline is Monday, August 16, 2010. If you are not a current CES member, join at the time of registration and receive the member rate for the course. All fees must be paid before classes begin. Textbook: Civil Engineering Reference Manual for the PE Exam (CERM11), 11th Edition, Michael R. Lindeburg, PE, 2008, ISBN: 978-159126-129-2. CES is a PPI Educational Partner. Students receive a 15% discount by purchasing books from PPI.  This course is presented with support from the Tri-C College of Engineering.
