The Cleveland Engineering Society Elects New Secretary

The Cleveland Engineering Society is pleased to announce that we have appointed Kyle Frye as our Secretary, an officer position within our Executive Committee. He was elected by unanimous, affirmative vote and he has accepted the position effective May 24, 2023.  Kyle succeeds our immediate past Secretary, Wessam N. Mekhael, PE.

Kyle Frye, Environmental, Safety, & Compliance Manager - The Lincoln Electric Company

Aside from joining as Secretary, Kyle was also recently elected to our Board of Directors.  He is the Environmental, Safety, & Compliance Manager for The Lincoln Electric Company and his professional experience will greatly enhance our organization as he helps us strategize to meet our short-term and long-term goals and uphold our mission.

“Upon first meeting Kyle I could tell he was the kind of person who could come into a role and quickly make it his own with confidence beyond his years. He shows up consistently while contributing solid ideas and practices,” says Trish Pekarcik, Director of Marketing, Events, & Membership for the Cleveland Engineering Society.  Kyle volunteers his time on several CES committees, helping wherever he is needed. On a personal note, he enjoys rock climbing, 3D printing, obstacle course racing, gardening and homebrewing. 

Our members and guests are bound to see Kyle at any number of our upcoming events.
